On Thursday, March 27, Chuncheon National University of Education (CNUE) held an event to commemorate its 86th anniversary (March 26) at Ilji Hall, Hongik-gwan. 

The event was attended by the President of the Alumni Association, as well as members of the board and advisory committee. 17 faculty members who have worked for over 20 years and 10 years at CNUE were presented with plaques of merit, and nine students received scholarship certificates (for the CNUE Development Fund Scholarship and the Alumni Association Scholarship) during the event. In his commemorative address, President Lee Juhan remarked, “We are responding proactively and preemptively to drastic changes of time, and we should find solutions to critical issues we face with an open mind.”

Min Yeong-hong, the President of the Alumni Association, added in his congratulatory remarks, “I thank the presidents and faculty members who have devoted themselves to Chuncheon National University of Education. As alumni, we will also continue to work for the bright future of Chuncheon National University of Education.”
